[link]I get a lot of questions about how these are made, and if I make them myself. I do. I buy a buttload of bismuth and melt it in a pot. Once melted, I cut off the heat and allow it to begin cooling. As it cools, bismuth crystals form. I extract them, sprinkle faery dust on them, and take pictures of them.
Of course, I'm leaving out a bit of info. This is because it has taken me years of work, trial and error, and a crapload of money to get it right, and I'll be damned if I'm just going to give away the tricks that have cost me a lot of blood, sweat, and blisters.
